Your responsibilities

  • You handle the ongoing bookkeeping, including accounts receivable/payable, asset accounting, and VAT returns
  • You support the team with monthly reporting to corporate accounting
  • You assist in the creation of budget plans and forecasts
  • You contribute to the preparation and creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • You process travel expense reports
  • You collaborate with internal departments and external partners such as tax advisors and auditors

Your profile

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in financial accounting and initial knowledge in the areas of accounting and cost accounting
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and relevant accounting systems, particularly DATEV, is a given for you
  • You have solid knowledge of HGB and German tax regulations and ideally have a knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • You bring some previous experience in reporting to shareholders and other stakeholders
  • You are an analytical person who never loses sight of the big picture
  • You have an analytical mind and a structured approach to work
  • High initiative, reliability, and accuracy are your strengths
  • You have excellent command of English and good knowledge of German
